01.09.2017 – 29.02.2020
Project implemented under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority axis I. Support for conducting R&D works by enterprises; within the “INNOMOTO” sectoral program, financed with funds of the Measure 1.2 “Sectoral R&D programs” of the SG OP in 2016.
The aim of the project is to carry out research and development necessary to develop special body for the ‘Triggo’ microcar of the ‘L’ category, dedicated to operation in car-sharing systems, as well as the technology for its serial production. The use of Triggo’-type vehicles has a number of important advantages from the point of view of automatic rental platforms, including saving space for rental and charging stations, energy savings, or greater economic profitability, when compared to the ‘M’ category cars. Homologation requirements of the light vehicles of the ‘L’ category impose a number of restrictions on their construction, including the reduction of the total weight. This limitation justifies the validity of the widest possible use of modern composite materials in the construction of such vehicles. On the other hand, the exploitation characteristics within the framework of automatic rental platforms, including significantly higher intensity of use, by a much larger number of users, possessing varying skill levels, requires the use of technological solutions of increased durability, compared to the classic light vehicle construction.
The project is carried out in a consortium composed of Triggo S.A. and NEW ERA MATERIALS Sp. z o.o.
